The first post was an upstart of a blog I wanted to do six months ago. Update....have not meditated daily or even weekly or monthly ugh :( But, I have a new goal that I think can change my life and help me take steps to being more of the person I want to be, which includes meditation!
I'm obviously a person that starts a lot of things and gets excited only to lose enthusiasm shortly thereafter. I'm hoping that by starting this blog that it will give me focus and structure to reflect, open myself up more to the world and to help me accomplish my goal of losing weight, losing my dependence on carbs and feeling better.
I want to have energy to go and do activities with my friends, to cook healthy food, to exercise, to be happier, to learn how to play the guitar, to shop for groceries, to live a life!!!
I truly believe that my eating habits have created a state of low energy, depression, self loathing, disgust, disinterest and unhappiness. When I eat well I notice that I have more enthusiasm for interacting with people and for accomplishing the tasks in my day that I want to complete instead of wanting to crawl into my bed and watch television for ninety percent of my free time.
I've started looking at other bloggers' spaces and am inspired to do better.....to try harder....to be committed to myself.....to be the person I want to be.
